Considering the seating capacity of the Independence Square in Accra, which peaks at 30,000 the question on many people’s lips at Bishop’s Good Friday Miracle Service is, “Are we witnessing the largest gathering ever in Accra?”. All available space is taken by the huge gathering, which comprises of people from all walks of life. The grounds are filled with chairs, and you have seas of people scattered in and around the square making the gathering one that is somewhere around the ballpark figure of 70,000-100,000. 

In conclusion the Good Friday Miracle Service with Dag Heward-Mills serves as a momentous occasion for believers to come together to experience a profound encounter with God. It is to the glory of God that a service that started in 2015 with only members of Bishop Dag Heward-Mills church within the greater Accra region and the rest of Ghana has grown to the largest gathering in the entire nation every year attending at the Independence Square.

The Qodesh 

The Qodesh perhaps is one of the modern-day architectural wonders in Ghana. It is located in Accra Ghana and was built by Bishop Dag Heward-Mills, the founder of the United Denominations of Lighthouse Group of churches (UDLGC). The magnificent building has a seating capacity of over 5000 people. It’s a place for conferences, weddings, and many other spiritual activities. 

Perez Dome

The Perez Dome is also located in Accra Ghana. This large edifice captures the attention of any passerby. It is home to the Perez chapel international church, founded by Bishop Charles Agyinasare. The Perez dome has a seating capacity of over 10,000. 

The First Love Center

The First Love Center is home to the first love church. The first love center was also founded by Bishop Dag Heward-Mills. Today, the First Love Center hosts the largest gathering of Christians every Sunday. It is in my opinion the largest single congregation church in Ghana. It has a seating capacity of over 10,000 people. It is one of the largest church buildings in Ghana. 

The Charismatic Evangelistic Ministry (CEM) Prayer Cathedral

The Prayer Cathedral of the Charismatic Evangelistic Ministry is led by Archbishop Nicolas Duncan-Williams. Archbishop Nicolas Duncan Williams is known as one of the influential figures in Ghana. He is often referred to as an Apostle of prayer.

On different occasions, he has called for a national day of prayer. I believe the national day of prayers has contributed to the peace that is experienced in Ghana. The prayer cathedral is known for its grandeur and spaciousness, which accommodates thousands of worshipers each week. 

The Royal House Chapel International (Ahenfie) 

The Royalhouse Chapel International Church complex is located in Accra Ghana. It is one of the largest church Buildings in the nation. The church was founded by Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah. It has grown to be one of the largest denominations in Ghana. The complex is named Ahenfie which means “palace”. Ahenfie is a remarkable architectural achievement where thousands of people gather each Sunday to worship God.

Throughout the history of the Christian church, Satan has consistently employed a divisive strategy, leading to internal conflicts among pastors and between pastors and their congregants. In this present era of the Christian community, God has harnessed the writings of Bishop Dag Heward-Mills to counter these divisive tactics of the enemy. His book series on loyalty and disloyalty has played a pivotal role in helping many churches overcome the divisive strategies of Satan. Those who oppose such books often do so because these writings reveal their true nature.

Romans 16:17-18 admonishes believers to “mark them which cause division and offenses contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.” Bishop Dag Heward-Mills’ writings on loyalty and disloyalty provide a means to identify and mark these deceptive tactics employed by Satan to undermine the Church of God.

Interestingly, Satan’s response to these writings mirrors his historical reactions to figures like John Huss and Martin Luther. Just as he sought to suppress their ideas by burning books, Satan attempts to do the same with the works of Dag Heward-Mills. This underscores the significance of these writings in combating division within the Christian body and further highlights the enduring struggle between spiritual enlightenment and the forces of darkness.
